This years Red Hat Summit will be in San Francisco, CA from May 8-10, 2018.

It will be located at the Moscone Center and has expanded to include more room for sessions, labs, lightning talks, panels and the pavilion.

You can register online and the agenda will be posted soon since the call for papers has closed.

This year I'm part of the organization committee that's providing the entire labs experience at Red Hat Summit. Since it's such a massive effort to organize, I've backed down my normal array of submissions to work with a few select presenters. Below are my submissions, a session and a lab, but there might be a few more small mini-theater type of talks as these tend to be arranged closer to the actual event.

Lab: Optimize your IT. VM migration made easy with Red Hat

In today's infrastructures, the coexistence of on premise virtualization resources with private and public clouds is becoming the norm. Being able to put the workloads in the most convenient infrastructure provides benefits to the the System Administrators, by providing tested tools to move VMs easily in large batches; the IT Managers, by making workload distribution simple and enabling choosing the best target for each them; and the CIOs by making changing virtualization provider a frictionless, low risk task. In this lab, you'll get hands-on with the Red Hat Infrastructure Migration solution in which you'll move virtualized workloads from a traditional virtualization environment to Red Hat Virtualization all supported by Red Hat CloudForms utilizing Ansible Inside.
