OpenShift Commons Dublin - 3 Pitfalls Everyone Should Avoid with Cloud Data

I've been invited to share my insights into cloud data at the upcoming OpenShift Commons event in Dublin, Ireland.

On Thursday, 23 June 2022 I'll be on stage with other community members and customers sharing their stories as they work with OpenShift and other cloud technologies. OpenShift Commons is open to all community participants: users, operators, enterprises, non-profits, educational institutions, partners, and service providers as well as other open source technology initiatives utilized under the hood or to extend the OpenShift platform.

It's a great place to find your community:

  • If you are an OpenShift Online or an OpenShift Enterprise customer or have deployed OpenShift on-premise or on a public cloud.
  • If you have contributed to the OpenShift Origin project and want to connect with your peers and end-users.
  • If you simply want to stay up-to-date on the roadmap and best practices for using, deploying, and operating OpenShift.

Now about that talk I'm going to share with you...

This story is about the pitfalls of cloud data and what you can learn from others that have gone before you, so be sure to join me in Dublin.

3 Pitfalls Everyone Should Avoid with Cloud Data

The daily hype is all around you. From cloud, multicloud, to hybrid cloud, this is the path to your digital future. These choices you’ve got to make don’t preclude the daily work of enhancing your customer's experience and agile delivery of those applications. With all this delivery and infrastructure, there is a lot of data to consider when engaging with any cloud experience. Regulatory and compliance pressures force us to store audit and observability data. Understanding the pitfalls around the collection, storage, and maintenance of our data can mean the difference between bankruptcy and success with our cloud strategy. Let us take you on a journey, looking closely at the decisions being made for delivering and dealing with monitoring those applications. Join us for an hour of power, where real customer experiences are used to highlight the three top lessons learned as they transitioned their data needs into cloud environments.

Looking forward to seeing you there and be sure to both register and explore the online agenda before you arrive.
