Macports update

How to upgrade / update your macports software (both packages, repo, and installed software:

$sudo port selfupdate
$sudo port -d sync
$sudo portindex
$sudo port upgrade installed

    A much simpler and equally complete (for most users) sequence would be:

    $sudo port selfupdate
    $sudo port upgrade outdated

    Thanks for the tip, nice to see you take enough time out of what must be a busy schedule to maintain the Gnome ports for the macports project. ;-)
