Red Hat Tech Day 2019 - Open is Key to Your Career

red hat tech day
Next week, 18 June 2019 it's going to be a lot of hands-on open source technology at the Red Hat Tech Day 2019.

There's an all day agenda with several tracks that cover topics across cloud infrastructure, application development, and a hands-on lab series.

Before you join us, be sure to register and check out the agenda to plan out your day.

Below you'll find the complete agenda, including the outline of my keynote opening the event.

Open is Key to Your Career

The day opens with a non-traditional motivational keynote that's going to have you take a closer look at your daily work and how it's quite possible to apply open to improve your career. Open in the sense of technology is easy, but how about sharing, collaboration, and teaching? You'll leave this session surprised how easy it is to maximize knowledge,  strengthen your teams, and improve your career by being more aware of the principles of open.

After a short break to network and let the keynote sink in, a second keynote explores the power enterprise open source on the main stage and leads us into the technical tracks that occupy the rest of the agenda. These technical tracks take attendees on a personal tour of new options open to you with Red Hat technologies.

The cloud infrastructure track updates you on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, the Red Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure new release, and a session on SaaS offerings for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Application development track tours building lightning fast container-native applications with Quarkus, updates you on OpenShift 4, and explores managing your Kafka cluster on OpenShift with Operators.

A hands-on lab room is running all day with mixed Windows / Linux workstations for some fun with Ansible Tower or diving into OpenShift.

So join us next week in the Netherlands for a full day of Red Hat technologies and don't forget to register online. Hope to see you there?
